The Independent Bankers of Colorado (IBC) is Colorado’s exclusive voice for Colorado’s community banks. With 60 member banks, the IBC represents banks of all of sizes, charter types and is dedicated to solely representing the interests of the community banking industry and the communities and customers they serve. Members of the IBC include a FDIC insured state or national bank, savings and loan association, savings bank, or trust company dedicated to the preservation of an independent banking system, as the IBC Board of Directors approves for active voting membership.
In addition, associate membership is available to companies and sole proprietors that provide products and services to the financial services industry.
Annual fee for associate membership is $750 per calendar year and $375 for sole proprietors. If your membership is effective after January your membership dues will be pro-rated. All applications are presented to the IBC Board of Directors for approval. Click here to download the application.
Annual fee for banks is $75 per million based on the bank’s total assets as of the June call report, with a minimum of $1,500 and maximum of $10,000 in dues. For banks with a billion and more in assets, dues are $17,500 per year. Multi-bank holding companies pay for the main bank using the regular dues assessment and may add each additional bank(s) in the holding company or affiliated bank for $2,500 each. All members are approved by the IBC Board of Directors. Click here to download the active bank membership application.
