Education Programs

The IBC Education Foundation (IBCEF) offers cost-effective education programs to community banks
and the general public via teleconference, webconference and live seminars.
Participation in our seminars by all banks increases annually on average by at least 25%. 
 
IBCEF Education Program Participants save money and increase their bottom line.
Participants can save over $1,000 by attending all of our seminars.
 
We offer myriad self-paced online training for consumers and some offerings are in Spanish.  Consumer information is also provided via our website.

Career Banker Network (CBN)
Connecting Community Bankers.  The CBN presents more than 20 education programs throughout the year, as well as, position specific conferences.  The CBN fosters:   career development growth, legislative involvement, education and much, much more!
 
Annual Convention
The largest annual gathering of community bankers to network, learn
and enjoy Colorado’s High Country.
Combining solid education programming with plenty of time for networking and socializing. 
 
Scholarship Program
Thanks to community bank support, the IBCEF Scholarship Program flourishes!
$2,000 in scholarships to high school seniors each year!


The IBC Education Foundation was formed in late 2004 with the primary purpose to provide educational programs to community bankers, as well as to support financial literacy information to the public. The Foundation is an exempt public non-profit organization formed under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Our Mission
  1. To be a source of affordable education and training for community bankers to assist them in various areas, such as regulatory compliance, lending, operations, human relations, security, etc. The purpose of these activities is to enhance the knowledge and skills of community bank employees who operate in a highly regulated industry.
  2. To support continuing professional education for community bankers and directors offered through public colleges and universities.
  3. To support financial literacy initiatives for the public.
  4. To support broad-based education and training programs offered to other industry and community groups.
  5. To offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
  6. To receive contributions and grants as an exempt organization.
