Community Banker Roundtables

(formerly known as Banking Forums)

Join us for lunch!  Bring your appetite and attend the IBCEF’s Community Banker Roundtables.  We’ll be in your area to bring you news and information you can use.

Economic Development is the topic for the October 2007 roundtables.  The IBCEF will have knowledgeable speakers on hand to speak on current economic development issues happening in your area. Also, CSU Extension’s role in local economic development.  Barbara Walker will be presenting updates on state and federal legislation impacting you and your bank.  We encourage you to come and network with bankers at any of the five roundtable locations.  Meet new people and reacquaint yourself with old friends.  Our open format provides you an opportunity to suggest topics you would like to discuss and share ideas and information with your colleagues.

Roundtable Participants and Career Banker Network Participants attend for FREE.  IBC participant banks, that are not Roundtable Participants, may attend for a fee of only $100 and IBC non participant banks may attend for a fee of $150.  Multiple people from your bank may attend the roundtables at NO additional charge.

Tax Deduction:  The IRS requires a notice on all registration forms, which informs the attendee of the amount of the registration fee representing food and beverage that is deductible as an ordinary business expense.  The IBC Education Foundation estimates the food cost of your basic registration is $15.  Under current tax law 50% of this amount is deductible as an ordinary business expense.
