The IBC
Education Foundation (IBCEF) offers cost-effective education programs
to community banks
and the
general public via teleconference, webconference and live seminars.
Participation
in our seminars by all banks increases annually on average by at least
25%.
IBCEF

can save over $1,000 by attending all of our seminars.
We offer myriad
self-paced online training for consumers and some offerings are in
Spanish. Consumer information is also

Career
Banker Network (CBN)
In 2007, the
CBN more than doubled its annual
education offerings to more than 20 programs.
To date, more than 65 banks
and branches have taken
advantage of our programs. In 2008 five,
one and one-half conferences will be added to the CBN line-up to
include ag and
natural resources, security, lending, operations and compliance.

program, consisting of
six conferences concentrating on a different manifestation of business
and
civic leadership as well as a trip to Washington, DC.
Annual
Convention

scholarships to high school
seniors each year!
The IBC Education Foundation was formed in late
2004 with the primary purpose to provide educational programs to
community bankers, as well as to support financial literacy information
to the public. The Foundation is an exempt public non-profit
organization formed under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code.
Our Mission
- To be a source of affordable education
and training for community bankers to assist them in various areas,
such as regulatory compliance, lending, operations, human relations,
security, etc. The purpose of these activities is to enhance the
knowledge and skills of community bank employees who operate in a
highly regulated industry.
- To support continuing professional education for
community bankers and directors offered through public colleges and
universities.
- To support financial literacy initiatives for the
public.
- To support broad-based education and training programs
offered to other industry and community groups.
- To offer scholarships to graduating high school
seniors.
- To receive contributions and grants as an exempt
organization.
