Vista Ridge Golf Club
Watch for additional information
coming soon!
Keeping your eye on the ball is
always a good idea, but it might not be so easy when you play Vista Ridge.
This par-72 course, created by Jay Morrish and The Redstone Group, has
as many gorgeous sights as it does sandtraps. Covering an impressive 232
acres, it's a full 30 percent larger than the typical 18-hole course, with
broad fairways that provide a generous landing area for your drives and
lots of distance from the homes that border the course.
While this is a tournament caliber
course capable of hosting pro events, we designed it for everyone to enjoy.
You'll find six sets of tees to make the course challenging and enjoyable
for any level player. There are Youth & Senior Tees, Women's Tees,
Men's Tees, Men's Back Tees, and two sets of Championship Tees. To
ensure everyday and long-term quality of operation, the golf course is
privately owned by the developers of Vista Ridge and managed by Troon Golf,
recognized around the world for exceptional service.
LIKE PEAS AND CARROTS – GOLF
AND SCHOLARSHIPS GO TOGETHER
Bankers, bank customers, IBC associate
members and state representatives Diane Hoppe and Ted Harvey put down their
pens and pencils, picked up their golf clubs and spent an absolutely beautiful

our event. Ninety-nine golfers participated in a slice of the action.
IBC members are hooked on this annual event and look forward to it each

Through
the wind, rain, hail, sleet, lightning, and even a brief moment of sun....
The
IBC held its 5th Annual Spring Golf Tournament and Student Scholarship
Fundraiser on Wednesday, May 17 at THE RIDGE at Castle Pines North.
One hundred and thirty eight golfers participated in the tournament and
made the most of an absolutely dreadful day to golf. Thank you to
all the bankers, legislators, and associate members who played in the tournament
and made this tournament the most successful to date.
Proceeds
from the tournament fund the IBC’s Student Scholarship Fund. Two Colorado
high school seniors received $1,000 scholarships and four received $500
scholarships (three students were bank employee children). Requirements
to receive a scholarship were: GPA of 3.0 or higher; the student or their
parents bank at an IBC member bank; complete an essay question; and attend
a Colorado college or university. If you would like to apply for the
scholarship, click here for the application
in Word format.
The
tournament was broken down into three flights allowing six teams to win;
several hole contests were sponsored. Because of the inclement weather
the tournament was called because of lightning. The winners, hole
contest winners, and putting contest winners were drawn at random.
A
BIG thanks to those who golfed in the tournament and for their support
of the Student Scholarship Fund.
