Introduction to the Legislative Process - The Capstone Group
The Capstone Group has its roots in work for non-profits, state government, and business organizations starting well before we opened our doors in 2003. Founding partners Moira Cullen, Mary Marchun and Christine Staberg often crossed paths in community meetings, hearing rooms and the hallways of the Capitol. Lots of late nights and early mornings working through difficult stakeholder negotiations and policy alternatives to achieve success inspired us to launch our own firm, focused on bringing our core values and work ethic to bear for clients seeking to earn a seat at the table. Since that time, we’ve added to our team, strategically expanding our issue expertise, key relationships and ability to meet our client’s needs.

Boss to Coach Zoom Session
Managers are the biggest determinant of team and organizational success. And if you are more “boss” than “coach”, your team, and your bank, will suffer in the long run. The best managers understand the importance of moving away from telling their team members what to do, and focusing more on coaching their people toward success.

Discover how to coach your employees to grow, thrive and win.

Highly engaged employees are more client-focused, more productive, better team players, and are more inclined to remain productive team members long term. The main driver of employee engagement is their manager.

Learn the key elements of employee engagement and what strengths are contributing to your staff’s engagement, challenges that are hindering the bank’s ability to become highly engaged and what you can do about it.

Attend the ICBA LEAD Forward Summit. LEAD FWD is the only national leadership conference for the community banking industry and delivers powerful learning for leaders at every level.

Teams That Thrive: Six Characteristics of Highly Effective Teams Zoom Session
Have you ever wondered why some teams always seem to succeed while others tend to flounder and never reach their potential? Why some teams seem to work smoothly together while others tend to bicker and not get along? Studies have shown that high performing financial institutions have teams that work closely together, balanced focus on both Task (ability to do your job) and People (ability to work with others).

Please join us for this informative program that will help shed light on what it takes to be part of a high performing team.
