This webinar will provide an “introduction” to the banking industry and touch on most all aspects of banking. By attending this training session, you will develop an understanding of the following areas of banking:
  1. Full-service commercial banking including a brief history of the modern US banking industry and how banks make money
  2. Products and services offered by banks including depository accounts, lending, trust department, and cash management
  3. Types of loans: consumer, residential, and commercial
  4. The five “Cs” of credit: capacity, capital, collateral, conditions, and character
  5. Investment products (FDIC and non-FDIC insured)
  6. Competitors in the marketplace
  7. Customer Service Skills and their importance in all aspects of banking
  8. Emerging technologies including the latest trends
  9. Banking regulations and regulatory agencies
  10. Management of the bank including the ALCO, audit, and loan committees

IBC reserves the right to cancel any program for which there is insufficient funds to cover the expense of the program. In the event of cancellation by IBC registration fees will be refunded.
